Padang City- a place where beautiful places and beautiful people are.
January 10, 2019 at 2 pm, we went to a mall named Transmart. I was amazed by the place because it feels like it’s festival everyday.
January 25, 2019 at 10 in the evening, we went to a place to eat with all the participants and buddies. The buddies let us try the tasty Nasi Goreng.
The Nasi Goreng is an Indonesian stir-fried rice with pieces of meat and vegetables.
January 30, 2019 at 7:15 pm, we went to Taplau Beach to witness the sunset in Padang, Indonesia. We were also surprised that even if it’s already 7pm in Indonesia, there is still sun to be seen while in Philippines if it’s 7pm, you can already see the dark night sky.
February 5, 2019.
Leaving is always the hardest part of the journey. We will say “Goodbye, until we meet again.” and just wonder when would that time be. 😦
It’s time to say goodbye to the place and to our dear friends.
Mr. Ananda Putra and his wife (on the left side wearing a blue hat, and red hijab) were the ones who drove us to the airport using their van. They accompanied us to the airport to make sure we go safe and sound.
This was the last picture we had with our friends from Indonesia. We cried a lot knowing that it’s gonna be a long time before we see each other again. We exchanged letters, hugs and goodbyes. It’s just so sad that we can only see each other on our phones– chatting and video calling.
This trip to Indonesia is very memorable and very worth-while because we had the chance to meet amazing people, had to travel to amazing places, and enjoyed the whole 1 month trip.
TERIMA KASIH, SEAMEO. TERIMA KASIH, PADANG. TERIMA KASIH, UNP. TERIMA KASIH, BUDDIES. TERIMAH KASIH!
